Dross Free Steel Wire Galvanizing Equipment

The traditional process for galvanizing steel wire produces dross with the presence of that dross in the kettle making the coating more brittle and control of the coating thickness less reliable. WICA Galvanizing have developed a patented pre-fluxing system which eliminates the dross situation

THE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR THE WICA PROCESS IS:

1. A “Flash” pre-flux tank as the first part of a pre-flux process
2. A coating protection tank as the second part of a pre-flux process
3. An immersion heated ceramic kettle set up for Galfan coating
4. Wiping system or systems suited to producing smooth and concentric coatings of uniform coating thickness.
